Zanca
Zanca is a small village on the cliffs directly in front of the sea. Even during the summer it counts only a few hundred inhabitants. The whole area is surrounded by a luxurious vegetation. Chestnut and oak forests cover with their green leaves the higher the hills and foot hills, nearer to sea it is the mediterranean macchia vegetation that is taking over. The mediterranean macchia vegetation with all its different plants and profums is present everywhere and gives the guests an extraordinary sensation of well being and harmony. The sea can be reached over a small path trough the mediterranean macchia and leads in 20 minutes to the cliffs of Punta della Zanca. The beach of Sant'Andrea, ideal for families with children is just 2 km far away. To reach all the beaches in the area our guests can use the special shuttle bus service "Marebus". In 20/30 minutes by car one can reach asll the famous beaches like Fetovaia, Cavoli and Marina di Campo.
